My garden story STARTED WHEN...

my mother taught me to grow cherry tomatoes and strawberries in the garden as a child. For many years I was without a garden of my own, but I became very interested in plant identification while living in Japan. After moving back to the US from Japan in 2010, I threw myself wholeheartedly into gardening again. Since that time, I've been planting and caring for flowers and edibles whenever the New England weather allows! Over the past several years I have been taking my skills into the gardens of clients to find sustainable solutions to garden problems, and create healthy gardens for the long term.

When I'm not in the garden, I'm hanging out with family and friends or doing social justice activism and volunteering in my community.
